Students from County Clare achieved national recognition at this year’s Student Enterprise Programme Finals, winning the “Best Sales & Marketing” award in the Senior Category. The Local Enterprise Office initiative held its national finals on Thursday, 7 May in Mullingar.

Supported by Local Enterprise Office Clare, students from St Flannan’s College secured the award. The winning team — Jack Hayes, Sean Daly, and Ultan Breslin — were guided by their teachers, Mr O’Connor and Ms Wynne. Their enterprise, JSU Marketing, impressed judges with its creativity, technical ability, and strong understanding of contemporary digital marketing. The team aims to support small businesses in competing online by providing affordable, high-quality digital solutions.

Congratulations are also extended to students from St John Bosco Secondary School, Kildysart, who represented Clare with great distinction. Their enterprises, Rebound X (Intermediate Category) and Straight Grain Creations (Junior Category), performed commendably at the national level.
